ROCCAT AIMO Gaming Peripherals Rapid Review
I’ve been using the ROCCAT Kova AIMO Ambidextrous RGB Gaming Mouse and the ROCCAT Sense AIMO RGB Illumination Gaming Mousepad for a while now, so here’s my Rapid Review of both products.

The ROCCAT Kova AIMO Ambidextrous RGB Gaming Mouse is brilliant. It’s easy to set up, in fact, it’s plug and play. However, you’re going to want to install the ROCCAT Swarm software to get the most out of it.
I’m used to using trackpads, so it was nice to use a mouse. This mouse is light but doesn’t feel in the slightest bit cheap. Thanks to the ergonomic design, it is very comfortable to use, and even though it looks like it has some very harsh edges, you don’t feel those when using it.
It is extremely smooth when tracking, and when paired with the mouse pad, it’s even better. You can choose between 5 preset tracking speeds, or you can customise it in the Swarm software. I was able to find my perfect speed within the preset speeds.
The mouse itself has 7 fully customisable buttons on it, as well as a scrolling wheel, known as the Titan wheel. There is a light on the scrolling wheel which again, you can customise by using the Swarm software.
I didn’t need to change the functions of the buttons on the mouse, as I was happy with the default settings. For example, when playing a game like Two Point Hospital, I was able to control the camera with ease. However, the ability to customise each button would undoubtedly be a welcome addition for more hardcore gamers.
I really enjoyed the RGB lights, and it was so cool to be able to control the light show by using the Swarm software.

Complimenting the ROCCAT Kova AIMO Ambidextrous RGB Gaming Mouse is the ROCCAT Sense AIMO RGB Illumination Gaming Mouse Pad.
This mouse pad is also plug and play, but as with the mouse, you’re going to want to use the ROCCAT Swarm software to customise the RGB light show and talking of which, the RGB lights running around the edge of the mouse pad, is a standout feature. You can cycle through the RGB colour effects by pressing the button that is found at the top of the mouse pad.
The mouse pad has a strip around the edge connected to the main pad with what looks like a thin material. Initially, this looked like it could easily come apart. However, my fears were quickly allayed, and it hasn’t ripped or torn in the months that I’ve been using it. This speaks to the high-quality materials used.
ROCCAT Swarm Software
The ROCCAT Swarm software is where you can control and customise the mouse, and the mouse pad, to your unique tastes and gaming needs. You can control the RGB lights of the mouse and mouse pad, using a range of presets, or you can choose your own colours and effects.
What I liked about the software was that you could have the mouse and mouse pads following the same colour scheme/pattern, or you can have each having its own colours and effects.
Using the Swarm software, you are also able to save 5 profile slots, so that if you wanted to, you could set up a profile for 5 different games, or programs.
