eufy Robot Vacuum 3-in-1 E20 – The Rapid Review
I’ve reviewed many vacuums and robot vacuums in the past, so I was very excited and intrigued to review the upcoming eufy Robot Vacuum 3-in-1 E20. The E20 is an innovative vacuum cleaner, offering a unique 3-in-1 functionality that combines the convenience of a robot vacuum with the versatility of a handheld and stick vacuum. Here’s my Rapid Review of this unique product.

Simple Setup
Setting up the eufy Robot Vacuum 3-in-1 E20 is quick and easy, with minimal assembly required, so you’ll have it ready to go in no time. Just ensure there’s enough space around the base station for the robot to move freely. You’ll also need to connect the E20 to the eufy Clean App. The app allows you to update the firmware, switch between cleaning modes, schedule cleanings, set up room-specific tasks, and edit maps with ease.
Design and Build Quality
The eufy Robot Vacuum 3-in-1 E20 is the Transformer of RoboVacs, you might even say the Optimus Prime of RoboVacs. It has a unique modular design where the main module, housing the motor, dust bin, and battery, can be detached from the robot vacuum body to transform into a stick or handheld vacuum. The build quality feels premium and solid which is important as this means you can be confident in the durability and longevity of a product that you’ll likely be using daily.

Top Features
Mapping and Navigation: Whilst not as accurate as the S1 Pro that I own, the E20 more than holds its own. A combination of LiDAR, dual laser sensors and 129° ultra-wide front scanning that the RoboVac is great at avoiding small to medium sized objects. In my testing, the RoboVac was able to manoeuvre itself around the numerous items that my daughters left on their bedroom floors.
Automatic Dust Emptying: When the RoboVac finishes its cleaning run, it will head to the self-emptying base station. Here, the dust collected is automatically emptied into the 3L dust bag meaning that you don’t need to empty it yourself. Furthermore, this dust bag only needs replacing every 75 days.
Deep Dust Collection: If you want to empty the dust bin after using the E20 in handheld or stick mode, you can do so using the Deep Dust Collection feature. As you can see in the video below, this empties the dust bin so that it is empty and ready for your next cleaning session.
Cleaning Performance
RoboVac Mode: In this mode, the E20 offers up to 8,000 PA of suction which is ample for picking up dust, dirt, pet hair, and debris from hard floors and carpets. While it may not be the highest suction power compared to some high-end robot vacuums, it still provides a thorough clean for everyday use.
Stick and Handheld Vacuum Modes: Here, the E20 shines with a significant jump to 30,000 Pa of suction power, making it highly effective for spot cleaning, reaching under furniture, or tackling upholstery and car interiors.
Switching between theses modes is smooth and straightforward, which enhances the user experience. However, storage of the various attachments might pose a minor challenge, as they do not all fit into the robot’s body or the base station. This issue is being address by eufy in the form of a free wall mount which is being offered via the eufy Clean App.
Battery & Charging
I was impressed with the battery life of the eufy Robot Vacuum 3-in-1 E20. In robot mode, the E20 was able to clean all the rooms in my house without needing to be charged and I have no doubt that the advertised 180 minutes of runtime on a single charge is correct. In stick and handheld mode, the battery did drain a lot faster.
When used as a cordless stick or handheld vacuum, the E20’s battery life is significantly shorter due to the higher suction power. In was able to get around 25-30 minutes of runtime in these modes, which was sufficient for spot cleaning or tackling smaller messes. The battery can be quickly recharged in about 2.5 hours, and you can get a quick glance of the charging status by looking at the green light strip as shown below.

Any cons?
I honestly didn’t find many major issues or problems. If I had to be ultra picky, the eufy Robot Vacuum 3-in-1 E20 can be quite noisy, particularly in higher suction modes and during the automatic dust bin emptying process. The other small issue I had was that it took several attempts to get an accurate mapping of the upstairs of my house.
Good Value?
Priced at £549, the E20 is positioned as a mid-range product. Given its multifunctionality, it offers good value for those looking to consolidate their vacuuming tools into one device. If you wanted to buy a handled vacuum, a stick vacuum and a RoboVac, you’d absolutely be paying more than £549.
The Rapid Wrap-up
The eufy Robot Vacuum 3-in-1 E20 is a compelling choice for anyone looking for an all-in-one cleaning solution, especially if room is at a premium. The ability to switch between Robovac, stick, and handheld vacuum modes makes it remarkably versatile. The eufy E20 provides flexibility, allowing you to clean without cluttering your home with multiple devices.
Its performance in stick and handheld modes is exceptional, though it’s not the best robot vacuum on the market. If you’re looking for a versatile cleaning solution and can overlook its louder operation and some mapping limitations, the eufy Robot Vacuum 3-in-1 E20 could be a game-changer.
