We’re big fans of eufy and their range of products, so I was excited to try out their latest offering, the eufy Clean X10 Pro Omni.
The eufy Clean X10 Pro Omni is a top-of-the-range robot vacuum and mop that takes the hassle out of keeping your carpets clean, and thanks to its MopMaster 2.0, also your hard floors, spotless. It boasts powerful cleaning features, intelligent navigation, and a versatile self-cleaning dock.
In this Rapid Review, I will give an overview of the pros and cons of this hands-free cleaning powerhouse.
What I loved about the eufy Clean X10 Omni Pro
Exceptional Cleaning Power: With 8,000 Pa of super powerful suction, the eufy Clean X10 Pro Omni offers vacuuming and mopping functions, providing a thorough cleaning experience. It effectively removed dirt, dust, and debris from my floors, while the mopping function ensured a deeper clean by removing stains and grime. Rest assured that the mops won’t soak your carpets because when it detects carpet, it automatically raises, then lowers when a hard floor is detected.
Pro-Detangle Comb: I live with a wife and two daughters who have been guilty of clogging brush bars with their hair. Fortunately, thanks to the Pro-Detangle Comb, this wasn’t an issue with the eufy Clean X10 Pro Omni. I don’t have a pet, but this robot vacuum could handle pet hair.
AI.See Smart Cleaning: The onboard camera and mapping technologies create a precise layout of your home, allowing it to avoid obstacles intelligently. I noticed a difference in how well it cleaned my carpets and floors compared to other RoboVacs I’ve used. I live in a busy household with two daughters who are not the best at clearing away their toys. Thankfully, the eufy Clean X10 Pro Omni avoided all their dolls and toys, avoiding tears and upsetting children. It also avoided my leads and gadgets, saving me from tears!
The eufy Clean X10 Pro Omni not only avoids obstacles but also captures pictures of them, which you can view in the app. It even tries to name the item, often getting it right. This feature adds a fun element to the cleaning process.
Additionally, the eufy Clean X10 Pro Omni’s built-in LED light enhances its effectiveness, especially during night cleaning sessions. The video below shows this in action.
A truly Hands-Free Experience: The eufy Clean X10 Pro Omni does it all! It self-empties the dustbin, refills the water tank, washes the mopping pads, and even dries them, saving me a lot of time and effort. Thanks to the app and the voice notifications on the device, I knew when it was time to empty the dirty water tank, refill the clean water tank, or replace the dust bag. A red indication light on the front of the Omni station also alerts you to any issues.
User-Friendly App: The eufy app offers extensive customisation options, including room-specific cleaning, no-go zones, and scheduling. It also tells you the eufy Clean X10 Pro Omni’s current status and any error messages. You can also update the firmware using the app.
Furthermore, the app allows you to access the eufy Lab. Here, you can access beta features. Two beta features are available: Smart Track Cleaning and Water Level Detection.
What I didn’t like about the eufy Clean X10 Omni Pro
This is going to be a very small list, as on the whole, I loved everything about the eufy Clean X10 Omni Pro. However, If I had to be ultra-critical, here are the small issues I encountered.
A little loud: The vacuuming, emptying, and mop-drying processes can be noisy. However, you get used to this very quickly. This is especially an issue if you want to send the eufy Clean X10 Omni Pro around to vacuum and mop at night.
Sometimes stuck: A few times, the eufy Clean X10 Pro Omni would get stuck on the door strips when moving from hard floor to carpet and vice versa. It isn’t a huge issue, as the RoboVac was clever enough to move around and eventually get going on its merry way.
Smelly water: If you leave the water in the dirty water tank until you get a notification to empty it, this can lead to the water sitting there getting stagnant and, therefore, a little smelly. My tip would be to clean the dirty water tank with washing-up liquid and rinse it as often as possible.
Should you buy it?
The eufy Clean X10 Pro Omni is an excellent investment if you want a hands-free cleaning experience and value intelligent features. Its powerful suction, proficient mopping, and the convenience of its self-cleaning dock are impressive. If you don’t mind the higher price tag and some noise, the eufy Clean X10 Pro Omni is an excellent way to keep your floors cleaner with minimal effort.
